1. There is a drought in many parts of China.
   There is a severe shortage of water. Water is being rationed in the cities.
   In Singapore the situation is completely different.
   There is plentiful supply of water.
   Although water levels in reservoir were low recently , they have been replenished as a result of rains in the last few weeks.
   Water is very precious.
2. The temperature rarely goes above 32C.

3. It takes about 3 weeks to get yourself acclimatised.
